My Role as your Travel Advisor

Hi! I'm glad you're here! 
 

I often get the question: why do I need a Travel Advisor do? In a nutshell, here is my answer: 
 

First and foremost, I work for you and because of that you will receive the benefit of my training, knowledge and destination expertise. 

I am here with you on the entirety of your trip: from the first stages of research and planning all the way to the time you get back. I'm also here for any "hiccups" along the way.  

I take time to get to know you, and what's most important to you about your trip. I ask a lot of questions so I can find out about things like where you've travelled before, what can't you live without on your vacation? Do you have food allergies or are there food options you just don't want to have on your menu? Are you a window seat person or must you have the aisle? First class or economy?  Are your knees in great shape for that hiking adventure? ETC 

You get my point. I ask a lot of questions! It is my goal to match you to your perfect destination. I connect with suppliers all over the world to bring you value, excellent service and things that are not available on line. You are not part of an assembly line and your vacation is not a cookie cutter experience. I want you to have the most memorable time. Your vacation matters to me. You matter to me. 

 

Due to the nature of travel in the new era, in order to enter into a research and travel management agreement with our clients - after a complimentary zoom or telephone consultation - my professional fees will be collected up-front, starting from: 

 

Flights only: $80+HST per person travelling 

 

All-Inclusive: $100+HST per couple  (Family rate $200 + HST) 

 

Cruises: $100+HST per couple (Family rate $200 + HST) 

 

Customized Itinerary:  $300 - $750 + HST 

 

Destination Weddings and Groups: $400+HST for groups of less than 20, 20 to 40 $600+HST and over 40 is $750+HST 

 

Cancellation Fees: $200+HST per person (in addition to tour operators charges) 
 

Change Fees: $50+HST per change (in addition to tour operators charges) 


My professional fees include researching and recommending the best destinations and properties that would work for you as well as recommending the most suitable insurance policy for your needs. Most importantly, I also help navigate the ever changing rules to travel, along with the latest updates and terms and conditions from the tour operators and the resorts, and the entry requirements per destination. Our services will include 3-4 itinerary options based on your needs, preferences, budget and special requests.  We will also assist in highlighting the cancellation/change policies with each tour operator, resort and country.
